Job Description: We have an amazing opportunity for a Data Scientist in Pretoria!

We require a candidate with:
• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science nonnegotiable but higher is preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on sustainable solution development.
• Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts
• Knowledge and experience with a variety of machine learning techniques and their real-world applications including advantages/drawbacks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques and quickly determine implementation benefit.
• We're looking for someone with 3+ years of experience building statistical models and impacting business decision making,
