You will be involved in translating requirements into functional solutions, producing technical documentation, performing testing, and assisting with problem resolution and system improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop software solutions according to project specifications and design requirements.
- Design and define system and user interfaces for software applications.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation in line with company standards.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure software performs as expected.
- Investigate user requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Assist with system testing and quality assurance activities.
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve software-related issues and defects.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and maintenance of existing systems and services.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Software Engineering role.
- 5 to 8 years' experience working with object-oriented programming principles.
- Practical experience with programming languages such as C#, C++, .NET, PHP, or related technologies.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with InterSystems Ensemble will be advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
