Hospitality and Outdoor- New Vacancy- Director of Food & Beverage Ultra-Lux Estate and Reserve | Plettenberg Bay Join this ultra-luxury, design-led estate offering refined, highly personalized hospitality. We are seeking an experienced Director of Food & Beverage to lead all culinary and beverage operations, shape guest experiences, and support the estate’s ongoing expansion. This is an opportunity to shape F&B concepts and standards from the ground up. Please note: this is a LIVE OUT position Requirements: Proven senior F&B leadership experience in 4/5* Large Boutique Luxury properties (non-neg) International F&B experience would be extremely beneficial Multi outlet experience a must- from in room dining to event catering, to onsite standalone Fine dining Restaurant operations Strong pre-opening experience a must Strong operational knowledge of kitchen, bar, and service environments Experience with openings or property expansions highly valued Excellent leadership, financial, and organizational skills Hands-on; detail-driven, and aligned with the estates ethos of refined simplicity Valid Drivers License with own transport Only open to South African Citizens or Valid Work permit holders- no sponsorship available Key Responsibilities: Oversee all F&B operations including kitchen, service, bar, and in-room amenities Develop menus and concepts in collaboration with the Head Chef Ensure intuitive, high-touch guest service across all dining experiences Recruit; train, and lead a high-performing F&B team Manage budgets, cost control, purchasing, and compliance Contribute to new venue openings, layouts, and scalable systems Deliver exceptional F&B for private events, concept weekends, and special occasions Package: Salary: R50 000 CTC neg D.O.E Other great benefits Live out in Plettenberg Bay Start Date: ASAP
