Job Description: Calling all people who have a passion for Java Development!

We have a well established client, based in Johannesburg looking for a Java Developer.

Requirements:
•Must be proficient in Java
•3+ years experience
•A full stack developer is a definite plus in this role, but not always essential
•Experience in: (relative to seniority)
•OO Principles: polymorphism, inheritance, encapsulation
•Strong Java and OO development knowledge
•Java, Spring Framework and Java EJB knowledge for legacy systems
•RESTful services
•JPA / Hibernate
•Jira and Git
•Testing frameworks like Gherkin
•Testing frameworks for APIs
•Microservices, Docker and Kubernetes experience beneficial
•AWS experience and or certification beneficial
