Key Responsibilities

Process Automation

• Analyse business processes across multiple departments to identify opportunities for automation, optimisation, and increased efficiency.
• Design, develop, and implement intelligent automation solutions using modern automation technologies, AI tools, and software development practices.
• Maintain, enhance, and support automation workflows, scripts, and applications to ensure reliability, scalability, and accuracy.
• Drive initiatives that reduce manual effort, improve operational performance, and deliver measurable business value.

AI & Intelligent Solutions

• Leverage artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to streamline processes and enhance business outcomes.
• Develop, train, deploy, and maintain machine learning models and AI-powered solutions where appropriate.
• Continuously monitor and optimise AI systems to improve performance, accuracy, and effectiveness.
• Evaluate new technologies and identify innovative ways to apply automation and AI across the organisation.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

• Partner closely with business teams to understand operational challenges and identify automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with technology teams and other stakeholders to integrate automation solutions seamlessly into existing systems and workflows.
• Gather requirements, provide recommendations, and communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Promote automation best practices and help drive adoption across the business.

Continuous Improvement

• Continuously review and enhance existing automated processes to maximise efficiency, reliability, and user experience.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation, AI, and software development.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
• Support the ongoing evolution of the organisation's automation capabilities and roadmap.

System Support & Maintenance

• Provide ongoing support for automation platforms and solutions, including troubleshooting, maintenance, testing, updates, and patch management.
• Monitor automation environments to ensure optimal performance and operational stability.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise business disruption.
• Maintain documentation and ensure automation solutions adhere to governance and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Skills & Experience

• Relevant qualification and/or professional experience in Automation, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience identifying, designing, and implementing process automation solutions that deliver measurable business improvements.
• Knowledge of automation platforms, scripting, software development practices, and AI-driven technologies.
• Strong understanding of current industry trends and emerging technologies within the automation and artificial intelligence landscape.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications, including testing, maintenance, software updates, and issue resolution.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and manage priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive approach to continuous learning, professional development, and innovation.
