The ideal candidate will be responsible for the bookkeeping and accounting of a portfolio of clients, client liaising, sorting and filing of financial records, monthly accounting processing up to trail balance, monthly bank reconciliations, VAT reconciliations, VAT201 submissions, preparation of year-end schedules to support the preparation of annual financial statements as well as other administrative duties.
The candidate will have a minimum of 3 years bookkeeping and accounting experience, preferably in an accounting firm environment. Partial or completed articles would definitely be a positive, but not required as the client values the correct experience highly. A candidate with the intention of a long-term commitment would be viewed favourably.
