Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Finance Officer at Initium Venture Solutions, based in the East Rand. The Finance Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and supporting the organisation’s fiscal management. This role provides critical support through budgeting, reporting, reconciliations, and financial administration to ensure financial sustainability and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial professional skilled in comprehensive financial management, reporting, and record keeping.
• Experienced in accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and asset control, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls.
• Adapt at budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and preparing management and statutory reports.
• Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to streamline processes and support organizational financial health.

Minimum Requirements:
• National Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., SAIPA, CIMA, SAICA) are an advantage.
• Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Experience in the training/education sector is advantageous.
• Strong experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Pastel, Xero).
