Job Summary
Senior Human Resources Manager provides a full range of day-to-day HR support, including Staffing, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Organisational Development, Benefits, Compensation and Training & Development.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 5- 8 years of progressive HR experience, with several years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, HR Certificate, or a related field is required; a Master’s Degree is a BONUS.
- Skills: Strong understanding of employment law, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in HR technology and data analytics.
Responsibilities include:
- To manage 11 Beauty Spas across South Africa, and 1 International (Africa)
- Report Structure: Reports to the Business Owner directly
- Act as Lead Administrative Staff Employee Relations Consultant to all domestic regional offices and oversee day-to-day employee relations for the JHB, CT & Africa office administrative staff.
- Lead the performance management process and enable teams to achieve challenging targets and realise the company's vision.
- Leads positive employee relations efforts within all facilities.
- Recruit for exempt and non-exempt positions.
- Assist with recruitment, including entering employment applications in the System and entering background check data.
- Prepare and coordinate all new hire packets, including entering in HR database.
- Prepare and coordinate termination paperwork, including entering termination in HRDB.
- Conduct New Hire Orientation and assist with new hire paperwork meetings, and follow up with the employee to ensure all paperwork is received.
- Ensure all job posting information on the net is accurate and updated as needed.
