Job Summary
A well-established insurance brokerage is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Insurance Underwriting Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will provide administrative and underwriting support to brokers while ensuring all policies and documentation are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clerical and administrative support to brokers
- Process new business and renewals for both Commercial and Domestic policies
- Obtain comparative quotations from insurers
- Ensure accurate underwriting and policy administration
- Follow up on outstanding documentation and diary entries
- Maintain and update policy notes, documents, and system records
- Prepare premium confirmations and policy schedules
- Liaise with insurers, brokers, and clients professionally
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and timelines
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience in insurance underwriting or policy administration
- Knowledge of Commercial and Domestic insurance policies
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience using Flexi, Cardinal, Onesure & Nimbis advantageous
