Job Summary
Are you passionate about risk assessment and client service in the short-term insurance sector? We are seeking an enthusiastic Insurance Broker to join our team in Highlands North.
Key Responsibilities
- Risk Assessment: Analyze insurance applications and evaluate personal, asset, and building information.
- Policy Management: Set premium rates, accept liability, and process endorsements accurately.
- Client Service: Respond promptly to client and broker queries, efficiently manage daily administrative tasks.
- Renewals & Retention: Handle renewals, process claim-driven corrective actions, and contribute to business retention.
- Binder Agreements: Monitor productivity for brokers managing outsourced binder contracts.
- Surveys & Quotes: Request VAR surveys as needed and provide accurate insurance quotations.
- Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to company underwriting procedures, checklists, and industry regulations.
- Diary Management: Organize and prioritize tasks for timely completion.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate
- Full NQF Level 4 FETC in Short Term Insurance
- Regulatory Exam (RE 5)
- Class of Business Personal Lines
- CPD points up to date.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Short Term Insurance, with a strong focus on Personal Lines Underwriting
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication and administrative skills
