Job Summary
Role Purpose
The Business Value Architect is responsible for architecting, quantifying, and realising business value across strategic, data, AI, digital, and technology initiatives. The role combines strategic value design (architecture) with hands-on value modelling and benefits realisation (engineering) to ensure that initiatives are clearly aligned to strategy, prioritised based on value, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
- Design enterprise and portfolio-level value frameworks aligned to strategic objectives.
- Define value hypotheses, outcome hierarchies, and value chains for initiatives.
- Develop and validate financial and non-financial value models (Business Value Engineer capability).
- Support and challenge business cases ensuring outcome- and value-based investment decisions.
- Define value KPIs, baselines, and benefits realisation approaches.
- Track and report expected vs realised value through delivery and adoption.
- Provide executive-ready insights for portfolio governance and prioritisation.
- Embed value-driven thinking and coach teams in value management practices.

Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or related field
- 8–12+ years’ experience in strategy, consulting, finance, analytics, or transformation roles
- Proven experience in value modelling, benefits realisation, and executive decision support
