Job Summary
Join our team as a Compliance Administration Clerk, where you'll help develop, implement, and monitor compliance frameworks in a dynamic insurance environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring the business adheres to industry and regulatory standards by supporting operational governance, risk management, and compliance assurance.
Minimum Requirements
- LLB Degree
- 2–5 years’ compliance experience (insurance/financial services preferred)
- Knowledge of FAIS, FICA, POPIA, TCF, and relevant legal principles
- Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills
- Advanced computer literacy
- Attention to detail, reliability, professionalism
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with operational implementation of the Group Governance Framework
- Draft, review, and update governance and compliance policies
- Monitor and report on compliance risk management plans and regulatory requirements
- Conduct SOP conformance testing and track management actions
- Train staff on compliance policies and legislation; create training materials
- Handle compliance queries, investigations, and maintain required registers
- Report regularly to management and regulatory stakeholders
- Collaborate across teams and manage relationships with regulators and external providers
- Provide compliance reports, conduct audits, and manage risk registers
