Unique Cosmetology seeks a qualified Somatologist with 2-3 years professional experience providing advanced skincare aesthetic treatments and wellness therapies, massage therapy, facials, including oxygen facials, high-tech rejuvenation treatments including peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, LED light therapy, spa treatments, waxing services, Fractional C02 facial laser treatments, manicures and pedicures. Minimum Qualification Matric. 3-Year Diploma in Somatology (NQF Level 4 - 6) from a recognized institution. Advantageous, but not essential: Certification in Massage Therapy (from an accredited Program) Certification in Advanced Aesthetic treatments (e.g. chemical peels, micro-needling, Derma-planning). Certification in Laser Technology (specifically Fractional C02 laser treatments. About Us Unique Cosmetology is a premier and serene beauty retreat, set in a stunning location with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We specialize in advanced therapies, treatments, and high-tech solutions within the beauty, weight loss, and somatology sectors. The Role: We are seeking a well-groomed, professional, accustomed to working within a cohesive team environment which fosters client confidence of our practices and elevates the customer experience, through: • Maintaining strict hygiene protocols and adherence to medical-grade hygiene standards • Conducting skin assessments and providing beauty regimen recommendations • Effective and safe operation of all aesthetic equipment • Maintaining detailed client records of treatment history and progress tracking. Requirements: • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion • Detail-oriented with excellent hygiene and professional ethics • Computer literate • Experience with social media platforms (advantageous) • Own reliable transport • Good communication skills (English) • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Willing to work a 5-day on, 2-day off weekly cycle • Friendly, approachable, and well-spokenError!
