Job Summary
A salon in Somerset West is reopening and is looking for a Junior Somatologist to join the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Somatologist who has a passion for the beauty industry and wants to grow their skills and client base within a professional salon environment.
An existing client base would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Perform professional beauty and aesthetic treatments
Conduct client consultations
Deliver excellent client service
Maintain treatment and hygiene standards
Build strong relationships with clients
Assist in growing the salon's client base
Promote treatments and services where appropriate
Support the senior therapist and wider salon team
Required Skills & Experience
Relevant Somatology / Beauty Therapy qualification
Previous salon experience
Advanced facial experience
Dermaplaning
Microneedling
Laser hair removal
Good understanding of beauty and aesthetic treatments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional presentation
Advanced treatment experience would be advantageous, although candidates with stronger basic treatment experience will also be considered.

Salary
R8 000 - R10 000 dependent on experience
