As a Technical Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, you will support the DotModus Sales team in providing by providing a cross solution level technical understanding and expertise across multiple platforms, hybrid cloud, database and public cloud in order to develop designs, solutions, architectures, documentation and associated backlogs as an input to the sales process from start to the conclusion of a sales deal.
Performs sales activities with the field-based Account Manager/Business Development Manager.
Attendance of all internal and external sales related meetings and forums where required
Preparing cost estimates for licensing and product sales as well as professional services (deployment, migration, implementation, workshops, etc.)
Developing overall solutions including high-level design, statements of work, service design and bills of materials.
Contributing to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
Analyzing and gathering business requirement from large and complex client environment and performing required research and investigation to identify and create thorough, accurate technical solution proposals based on client requirements
Establish trusted advisor relationships with decision makers and senior buyers.
Confer with customers, prospects and salespeople to collect requirements.
Prepare sales presentations with service offerings, case studies and proof points.
Develop proposals and pricing models for innovative solutions.
Develop solution briefs.
Assess outputs from delivery teams to assure deliverables satisfy quality standards.
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and technical architects to devise client solutions.
Penetrate and expand accounts through sales and operational strategic account solution plans.
Involve in quarterly account plan table-top reviews.
Execute solutions’ presentations, demos and handle scenario sessions with prospects.
Determine problem domain and record in design solution documents.
Determine technical risk and issues and suggest mitigation options.
Coordinate with Sales Director, Business Development Managers and Account Managers to pursue sales cycles.
Provide weekly detailed reporting on a all presales activities
Manage your time, and related communication, such that attendance to client meetings, internal meetings and delivery of client related outcomes can be met and accommodated
Present proposed architecture, backlog and timelines presented to the Architecture Review Board (ARB) as part of the conclusion of the sales process
Assist in the handover of the agreed design and backlog to operations and execution team.

Ability to understand and translate business requirements into use cases and solution design
Ability to present solutions and proposals back to clients in a professional manner
Excellent client engagement, communication and presentation skills in English
