Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must have current or RECENT experience working in Youth Development or Youth Employment/Labour initiatives
Completed Honours or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as monitoring and evaluation, statistics, or economics.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, research, or a related field from Social/Economic Impact, Youth Development or Community Development environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Certification in monitoring and evaluation (e.g., M&E Certified Professional) is advantageous.
Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in one or more additional South African languages being advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Implementation of M&E Systems: Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks, plans, and systems to track program performance and impact.
Data Collection and Analysis: Design and implement data collection tools, collect and analyse data, and ensure data quality and management.
Reporting and Dissemination: Prepare and submit regular reports to stakeholders, including donors, government, and internal management.
Program Evaluation: Design and conduct evaluations, including baseline, mid-term, and end-line evaluations, to assess program effectiveness and impact.
Capacity Building: Provide training and technical assistance to program staff and partners on M&E concepts, tools, and methods.
Collaboration and Co-ordination: Work closely with program teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure that M&E findings are used to inform program decision-making
