Established company with a close-knit team requires the expertise of a Fleet Maintenance Manager with technical/ mechanical capabilities to ensure that their fleet is operating at optimal levels at all times.
This role requires a hands-on approach and will require the Manager to lead by example.
Responsibilities:
Servicing and regular maintenance of vehicles (Including trailers and LDV’s)
Conduct pre inspections of vehicles
Route Planning
Act as liaison to the insurance company WRT repairs of vehicles (Minor and major repairs)
Management of a team of drivers as well as a fleet Administrator
General maintenance and repairs on trailers and LDVs
Ensuring the fleet is always clean
Ensure that vehicles and trailers are road worthy and licenses are up to date ahead of time
Requirements:
5+ years relevant fleet/ vehicle maintenance experience with 2 + years within a supervisory role
Vehicle mechanics experience
Valid driver’s license
As this is an urgent role, immediate – 48 hour notice availability is preferred
