Our Client in the packaging industry is looking for a Regional Quality Manager (KZN) to join their team.
Health & Safety:
Ensuring that the company complies with legislations/OSHACT
Managing the Quality team to ensure compliance and reporting of any deviations to the above
PPE and PPC compliance
Ensuring all legislative training of appointed team members
Drive housekeeping & 5S standards
Manage and develop Quality Team Leaders and Inspectors.
Manage the Quality Management Systems.
Provide support to the Production Process.
Facilitate the Management of Change Process (DRM, ISIR) and other quality improvements.
Participate in Internal Auditing Process (ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000).
Reporting for the Management Review Process.
Facilitating and Participating in Customer Complaints and Customer Returns investigation and reporting with Operations and Sales Team.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
A degree is essential
At least 5 years’ experience dealing with Quality Assurance and Quality Systems issues.
At least 5 years Management experience
At least 5 years in a Manufacturing environment in a Quality Manager position, preferably in the FMCG or Packaging industry.
Sound knowledge of BRC or FSSC 22000 Systems advantageous.
