Sales & Marketing Executive ( Digital)
The Sales & Marketing Executive is tasked with developing and implementing the student recruitment plan including both sales and marketing with a strong focusing on the achievement of ambitious targets for growth with a strong focus on digital marketing and building sales pipelines.
You will be promoting the brand directly to prospective students as well as third parties such as corporates and municipalities and managing both the contact centre staff, Higher Education consultants and external sales staff. Previous experience within call centre, digital marketing & sales is essential.
Generating profitable revenue for the business with full management of a national sales team, this includes training; career development; performance management and staff retention;
Responsible for directing all sales activities for registrations and ensuring the company’s sales/enrolments grow year on year in line with targets;
Creating an annual marketing strategy and work collaboratively with the academic team specifically and fostering a culture of continuous process improvement;
Development and Implementation of Sales Strategy for organisation;
Drive the entry into the corporate and municipal space including managing key accounts directly or collaboratively;
Act in the capacity as a Senior Manager within the senior leadership team reporting directly into the COO and Group Sales Executive;
Presenting sales results to the Exco as required;
Working with the Finance Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and planning;
Ensures systems and processes are regularly reviewed and amended to ensure that these systems remain relevant and appropriate to meet the needs of the business, this includes technical systems;
Develops a clear Sales Management and reporting process to effectively track and report on sales and income in target markets;
Matric/ Grade 12;
Relevant tertiary qualification;
3 + years’ sales team management experience; preferably on a national basis;
4 + years’ experience within a Higher/ Tertiary education environment;
Previous experience within a fintech environment would be considered
10 + years’ in sales;
Strong background in call centre/contact centre sales environment
Ability to produce budgets and forecasts (Assistance from finance);
Ability to compile realistic targets and commission structures;
Ability to analyse sales statistics and interpret at EXCO level;
A hands-on leadership approach.
