Responsibilities:
- Prepare business activity reports, financial statements, and forecasts.
- Make sure financial legal requirements are met.
- Developing financial reporting systems.
- Find ways to reduce or maintain costs by studying financial reports and business processes.
- Analyse market trends to discover business opportunities and maximize profits.
- Aid management in financial decisions.
- Maintain up to date financial system knowledge
- Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information
- Predicting future financial trends
- Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
- Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
- Developing long-term business plans based on these reports
- Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets
- Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk
- Providing back office services such as accounts payable, collection and payroll.
- Monitoring cash flow.
- Understand GL
- Liaising with accountant teams.
- Providing insights on the financial health of the organisation.
- Ensuring the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues.
- Developing relationships with external contacts such as auditors, solicitors, suppliers and contractor personnel.
- Supervising & supporting finance dept staff.
Requirements:
- Financial Qualification with 6-8 years experience
- Sage Experience advantageous
- Portuguese speaking advantageous
- Experience with Off Shore companies advantageous
- Able to work cross functionally and be hands on.
