The Department of Transport and Public Works, Western Cape Government has an employment opportunity for a qualified and competent individual to provide and manage technical advisory services and support by applying engineering principles and techniques to address engineering challenges through research. This includes requiring documentation and streamlining existing legacy systems specifically related to road infrastructure management. The applicant must be able to match digital technologies to existing operations. This will include staying abreast with digital technologies as well as assist in designing, managing and optimising road network asset management infrastructure systems and business processes. The applicant will further be responsible to facilitate and enhance communication between developers, engineers and specialist. This post is stationed in Cape Town.
