Job Summary
Daily Responsibilities • Bathe, change, and feed both babies daily; bath both boys and serve dinner before leaving each day • Design and maintain a daily schedule that balances feeding times, nap times, sensory play, teaching, and outdoor or free play • Conduct at least one hour of structured teaching with the 15-month-old each day — basic words, colours, shapes, and numbers • Facilitate age-appropriate sensory play for both boys — textures, sounds, water play, and tactile exploration to support developmental milestones • Engage in guided play that encourages curiosity, motor skill development, and early social interaction • Read to both children daily to build early language and listening skills Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating play environment throughout the day Working Hours Core hours: 09:00 – 17:00 with a 30-minute break. Children sleep between 13:00 and 16:00, so an extended break is available during this window. After hours / weekends: Emergency cover only — rare, paid at a higher rate. Requirements • Infant and toddler care experience — essential • Own vehicle and valid driver's licence — preferred • Contactable references required • Open to a 3-month trial period, followed by a 6 to 12 month contract • Available for rare emergency cover on weekends • Valid passport — required for occasional family travel • Must be able to swim • Must be a South African resident Apply with CV, cover letter, photo and referencesError!
