Our client, a prestigious FMCG manufacturer, seeks to employ a suitably qualified, experienced and professional Head of Ecommerce to lead their vibrant and progressive team in Cape Town.

This role requires a high energy professional, who has worked at a senior level, in a fast paced environment, specifically with high-end products

REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have a degree in Business Management or relevant digital technologies field, coupled with 5-10 years experience as a digital lead and 3-5 years in a senior management capacity, focusing on E-Commerce and Digital Marketing
• You will have strong UI/UX experience, as well as solid experience in online marketing tools and web based technologies
• You will have proven experience in driving strategy and driving success within the team, as well as presenting to the Exco to influence decision making to achieve profitability
• You will have advanced Excel skills - pivot tables, extracting data and creating formulas
• You will have advanced skills in SEO, SEM and CRM and have an in-depth knowledge of digital balance sheets and Google analytics, as well as creating initiatives to add value
• You will be a natural leader, with the ability to engage with the team, the management team/peers and the Exco
• A clear criminal and credit record is essential and verifications will be conducted.

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license

Must reside in Cape Town

Experience within the Liquor Industry is preferable

2-3 years experience as a Merchandiser

In your role as a Merchandiser, your job description includes, but is not limited to the below responsibilities:

• Ensuring stock is placed correctly on shelves and enough stock is available
• Collect and Manage customer information
• Collect information and report/feedback as per operational or ASM requirements
• Regularly replenishing and refilling the inventory that is for sale on the store shelves
• Checking the expiry dates, labels, tags and quality of the goods shelved in the store
• Ensuring that the goods stacked on the shelves comply with the standards of the store and are not damaged
