Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Field Manager in the Northern Cape who will drive growth for clients, customers, and the business by proactively influencing and managing relationships between clients, customers, and employees; identifying opportunities and providing valuable insights; managing the resources required to ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations; and acting as a custodian of the company’s people, culture, and leadership standards.
Minimum requirements
- Matric
- Relevant qualification at NQF Level 5 (advantageous)
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years' sales experience within the FMCG environment at a managerial level
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- MUST have a valid driver's license and own vehicle
- MUST be willing to travel

Duties and responsibilities
- Manages promotional activities to ensure effective brand visibility and successful campaign execution
- Achieves POP (Point of Purchase) objectives by ensuring the correct placement and implementation of promotional material
- Ensures the efficient achievement of operational and sales targets in line with company expectations
- Controls cellphone, telephone, and fuel expenses to ensure cost-effective operations and adherence to budget requirements
- Demonstrates proactive operational excellence by identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions
- Provides business insights and ensures the successful execution of operational strategies and objectives
- Maintains strong stakeholder engagement by building and managing professional relationships with clients, customers, and internal teams
- Monitors new innovations and market trends to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement
- Manages staff performance, attendance, and development to ensure productivity and operational efficiency
- Promotes teamwork and effective staff management by fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment
Remuneration
R 35 000 Cost to Company per month (includes medical aid and pension fund contribution + car allowance)
