We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial record-keeping, timely reconciliations, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Full bookkeeping function to trial balance
Capturing and processing of supplier invoices and customer invoices
Debtors and creditors full function
Bank, cashbook, and credit card reconciliations
Petty cash management
Journal entries and general ledger maintenance
Monthly accruals and provisions
Preparation of monthly trial balance
Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
VAT calculations and submissions
Assisting with audit preparation and supporting documentation
Maintaining accurate filing and record systems
Minimum Requirements
Matric + relevant qualification in Accounting / Bookkeeping
3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience working up to trial balance
Proficient in Sage accounting software
Strong Excel skills
