Job Summary
Job Purpose
To oversee and manage daily site operations, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise employees and subcontractors on-site.
- Ensure daily operations run smoothly and according to schedule.
- Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Enforce health and safety regulations on-site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential risks or issues.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and workforce requirements.
- Report site progress, incidents, and delays to management.
- Ensure staff attendance, discipline, and productivity are maintained.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors where necessary.
- Resolve operational problems and escalate major issues to management.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in a supervisory or site-based role.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage teams effectively.
- Valid driver’s licence advantageous.
- Computer literacy will be beneficial.
