Requirements:
- Qualified Millwright or Electrician (Trade Tested)
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in FMCG or related manufacturing environment
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Electrical systems
- Mechanical systems
- PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
- Proven experience with filling and packaging equipment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on UHT/ESL filling and downstream equipment
- Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems
- Maintain and repair filling and packaging machinery
- Ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency
- Work both independently and within a team to meet production targets
- Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and FMCG standards
- Accurately complete maintenance reports and job cards
- Participate in shift work, overtime, and standby when required
