Group Retail Manager – Graskop
We are seeking an experienced Group Retail Manager to oversee multiple FMCG retail stores in the Sabie region. The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader with proven multi‑store management experience, excellent financial acumen, and the ability to drive performance in a fast‑paced retail environment.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across all stores and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Implement and monitor operational plans, merchandising, hygiene, and stock controls.
- Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food regulations.
- Drive sales growth, profitability, and cost control.
- Analyse financial reports, shrinkage, stock variances, and GP performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Store Managers and department heads.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Ensure excellent customer service across all stores.
- Manage stock levels, replenishment, supplier relationships, and shrinkage control.
- Enforce company policies, security protocols, and loss‑prevention measures.
- Oversee store maintenance, equipment, and asset protection.
Qualifications
- Matric (required)
- Diploma/Degree in Retail or Business Management (advantageous)
Experience
- 5–7 years retail management experience (FMCG preferred)
- Proven multi‑store or large-format retail management experience
- Strong financial and commercial decision-making skills

Working Conditions
