Core Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance Leadership: Drive cross-departmental adherence to globally recognised food safety frameworks—specifically HACCP, PRP, and ISO 22000:2018—through strategic workflow coordination and operational alignment.
- Culture & Safety Interventions: Spearhead regular, high-impact safety and quality awareness sessions across the production floor (daily, weekly, and monthly) to cultivate a proactive, zero-compromise safety culture.
- Programme Governance: Oversee the rollout, continuous maintenance, and performance reporting of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Prerequisite Programmes (PRP).
- Critical Control Auditing: Conduct meticulous reviews of all Critical Control Point (CCP) verification data to guarantee absolute adherence to critical thresholds and procedural frequencies.
- Instrument Calibration Oversight: Systematically monitor, analyse, and report on the operational precision of all Inspection, Measuring, and Testing Equipment (IMTE).
- Audit Readiness: Manage and curate all vital system records and compliance documentation, ensuring the facility remains in a state of continuous audit readiness at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Academic Foundation: A formal B.Sc. Degree or National Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or a closely related technical discipline is highly advantageous.
- Professional Pedigree: At least 24 months of dedicated experience driving food safety and quality initiatives within a fast-paced FMCG or consumer goods manufacturing environment.
- Systems Expertise: Advanced command and demonstrated application of critical industry standards, encompassing ISO 22000, ISO 22002, HACCP, VACCP, and TACCP.
- Industry Advantage: Prior operational experience within the bulk agricultural processing or grain milling sectors will be viewed as a distinct strategic advantage.
