Key Responsibilities:
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules on all production and facility equipment to minimise downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
- Fault Finding & Repair: Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical faults in a fast-paced environment.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in strict adherence to occupational health and safety standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement modifications to existing machinery and processes to optimise efficiency and reliability.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Relevant recognised trade test certificate
- Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-trade experience working in a food manufacturing maintenance role.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
Abilities & Competencies:
- Exceptional mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team under pressure.
