QUALIFICATIONS:
Matric
Relevant Diploma or Degree will be advantage
EXPERIENCE:
5 Years Managerial Experience
7 Years Retails in FMCG
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. STOCK AVAILABILITY:
• Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking or running out-of-stock
• Ensure that all product lines are available on the shelves
• Prepare and generate accurate stock availability reports for senior management weekly
• Manage and control cold chain
2. STOCK PURCHASING
• Ensure compliance to all purchasing policies and procedures
• Procure best product at correct costing
• • Place order to replenish merchandise as needed – prevent shrinkage
3. STOCK CONTROL
• Oversee storage of products, particularly of fragile items – cold chain management
• Manage and control all stock to prevent losses due to theft, expired stock, breakage or damage
• Schedule all stocktakes – monthly and annually – 12 months in advance
4. MANAGERIAL:
• Lead, direct and plan staff daily activities
• Manage and control staff leave, absenteeism, discipline and time sheets
• Ensure that excellent customer services is provided to all customers
5. GENERAL ADMINISTRATION:
• Meet daily, monthly and annual sales targets
• Maintain accurate and current statistical and financial records
