Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full operational finance function for a large, multi-store retail environment.
- Partner with senior executives and provide financial insight that drives national performance.
- Manage financial governance and controls across 300+ stores.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and commercial analysis.
- Ensure compliance, reporting accuracy, and alignment to JSE-listed requirements.
- Deliver clear, actionable financial reporting packs and strategic insights.
- Support executive leadership with high-level planning and performance tracking.
- Manage finance teams, strengthen processes, and drive continuous operational improvement.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) or a relevant Finance Degree (essential).
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in a senior finance role.
- Strong background in retail or FMCG (non-negotiable).
- Experience working within JSE-listed environments.
- Proven exposure to executive-level stakeholders and board-level reporting.
- Deep operational finance experience in a high-volume, multi-site environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence business outcomes.
- Advanced Excel and excellent analytical ability.
- Confident leader with the ability to manage large teams and drive results.
