Job Summary
Run the full management accounts function, including reporting, budgets and forecasts
Perform cashbook to trial balance, VAT, PAYE returns, and financial analysis
Prepare management accounts, flash results, and cash flow reports
Manage and review product costing and operational finance processes
Oversee weekly payroll administration and related reconciliations
Provide reporting and performance analysis to the Group Finance Executive
Supervise, mentor and manage the Bookkeeper, support finance team activities
Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls and corporate governance standards
Perform GL control account reconciliations and maintain financial accuracy
Liaise with SARS, IDC, suppliers and finance teams across the group
Approve supplier payments and maintain payment discipline
Assist the Group Finance Executive with corporate duties and ad‑hoc projects
Skills & Experience:
Experience managing a full set of accounts, ideally within a production/manufacturing environment
Strong management accounting exposure: reporting, costing, analysis, budgets, variance analysis
Advanced Excel proficiency
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and multi‑tasking capability
Able to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
Integrity, professionalism and strong work ethic, able to work independently and as part of a team
Open to being trained into a more senior role, high learning agility
Must be comfortable working on‑site daily
Minimum 5 years post-articles accounting experience
Qualification:
BCom in Accounting / Finance OR Equivalent
Completed Articles (SAIPA/SAICA)
