Job Summary
Act as a strategic finance partner to the CEO, contributing to long-term planning, growth strategy, and key commercial decisions
Provide insightful commercial analysis across pricing, margins, sales channels, commissions, credit, and inventory management
Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, modelling, and performance reporting
Drive profitability, cash flow optimisation, and working capital management initiatives
Oversee the preparation of consolidated Group Annual Financial Statements
Take ownership of the annual external audit process, acting as the primary liaison with auditors
Manage full tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, PAYE, and SARS submissions (including ITR14)
Lead treasury management, including banking relationships and cash flow oversight
Serve in key governance roles including Public Officer (SARS), Information Officer (POPIA), and PAIA Officer
Ensure company secretarial compliance and adherence to all statutory requirements
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team, while embedding robust internal controls and governance frameworks
Skills & Experience:
Proven ability to operate as a trusted advisor at executive level, influencing strategic decisions
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate financial insights into business impact
Advanced technical accounting expertise, particularly in consolidated reporting
Demonstrated experience leading external audits and managing regulatory requirements
Hands-on experience in tax compliance and engagement with SARS
Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational execution
Strong leadership capability with a track record of developing and empowering finance teams
Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
Minimum of 8–10 years’ progressive finance experience, including senior leadership and group-level exposure
Qualification:
CA(SA) qualification (essential)
