Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full finance function, including accounting, reporting, budgeting and planning
- Translate global financial strategy into effective local execution
- Deliver commercial insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Ensure IFRS-compliant reporting aligned to Group standards
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close processes
- Maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks
- Manage external audit processes and auditor relationships
- Ensure compliance across South Africa, Australia, Singapore and the USA
- Oversee VAT, PAYE, GST, corporate tax and transfer pricing
- Manage deferred revenue accounting and complex revenue recognition models
- Act as trusted finance partner on pricing, modelling and investment decisions
- Support M&A activity, integrations and restructuring initiatives
- Drive automation, process optimisation and finance transformation
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) / AGA(SA) / ACCA qualified
- 10+ years’ progressive financial management experience
- Proven multinational experience (essential)
- Strong exposure to deferred revenue accounting
- Solid understanding of foreign tax compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Board-level exposure with ability to influence strategic decisions
- Advanced MS Excel and strong ERP systems knowledge (Navision, SAP or similar)
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
- Strategic, commercially astute and confident in executive environments
