Job Summary
Job Description:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full finance function and driving financial excellence across the business. You will lead and support the finance team while partnering with stakeholders to influence strategy and performance
Duties include overseeing reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, compliance, reconciliations, and month-end processes. You will produce meaningful financial insights, coordinate external audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain strong financial controls
You will also engage with external stakeholders, support treasury and funding initiatives, identify cost efficiencies, and drive continuous improvement. This role requires a hands-on leader who can mentor a team and contribute strategically within a fast-paced and evolving environment
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 4+ years post-articles experience in a Finance Manager role within commerce
Strong understanding of IFRS and tax principles
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
Experience in financial services or retail advantageous
Exposure to Oracle Netsuite beneficial
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and change management abilities
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-changing environment
Qualification:
BCom Honours Degree
SAICA articles completed
CA(SA) preferred
