Job Summary
A highly experienced Group Financial Manager is sought to lead and manage the financial operations and strategy of this well established hospitality estate and its related entities. Ensure accurate, compliant, and insightful financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Oversee the full finance function, including management accounts, budgets, cash flow, and consolidated reporting. Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic insights to improve profitability. Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements. Manage cash flow, treasury, and stakeholder relationships (banks, auditors, SARS). Maintain and enhance financial systems (Pastel, Semper, Easy Wine, Excel). Lead; mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure operational excellence. Skills & Attributes Strong analytical, strategic, and commercial acumen. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Afrikaans & English). High attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems. Qualifications & Experience Degree in Accounting or Finance (postgraduate/CA(SA) advantageous). 8–10 years’ financial management experience, including 3+ years in leadership. Experience in hospitality, manufacturing, or FMCG preferred. Proven record in group reporting, budgeting, and audit management. Key Metrics Accuracy and timeliness of reports.
