The Family Office is seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to support the Accountant with day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration. This opportunity is ideal for someone with good numerical ability and bookkeeping experience who enjoys working accurately in a small, professional environment. A formal accounting degree is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with bookkeeping and financial administration.
Capture financial transactions accurately.
Process supplier invoices and payments.
Assist with creditors, debtors and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records.
Support month-end administrative processes.
Provide general assistance to the Accountant.
Requirements
Previous bookkeeping, finance or accounting administration experience.
Good numerical and reconciliation skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience processing financial transactions.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Experience with Pastel Partner or similar accounting software would be advantageous.
Professional, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
A bookkeeping qualification or relevant practical experience would be advantageous, but a formal accounting degree is not required.
