Our client, a reputable organisation located just to the east of the Sandton, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their Head Office finance team. The role requires a technically strong professional who can take ownership of full-function accounting duties, manage reconciliations, assist with management accounts, and contribute to financial policy development.
Requirements:
- BCom degree (or equivalent)
- Completed articles with a reputable accounting firm
- 5+ years relevant working experience in an accounting environment
- Strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing reconciliations
- Performing financial analysis
- Ensuring timely generation of monthly management reports
- Assisting with management accounts, schedules, and queries
- Preparing financial policies and procedures
- Handling individual company accounts
- Ad hoc assignments and projects as directed by the Group Financial Executive and Company Secretary
