Job Summary
Qualification- Matric / Senior Certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (NQF Level 7)
- Advanced Excel capability (including lookup functions, nested IF statements, pivot tables, data reconciliation).
- Valid drivers license
- Proven operational payroll and/or tax experience in multi-jurisdiction or cross-border environments.
- Direct ownership of payroll tax submissions
- Strong understanding of compliance risk within international payroll structures.
- Strong analytical and investigative mindset
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to operate effectively under strict global deadlines across time zones.
- Clear and professional written communication skills (client-facing exposure preferred)
- Experience within an Employer of Record (EOR), global payroll provider, or multinational organization.
- Exposure to payroll/ tax complexities such as:
- Cross-border tax implications
- Intercompany transactions
- Tax Authority Communications
- Multi-country reconciliations
- Experience managing high-volume or high-growth environments.
- Manage payroll tax calculations across multiple jurisdictions ensuring accurate gross-to-net processing
- within country-specific frameworks
- Prepare and review monthly and annual payroll tax filings across relevant countries
- Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll tax discrepancies
- Ensure the timely submission and payment of taxes and other related contributions to the country -specific Authorities
- Conduct research through monitoring, and implement legislative updates across assigned jurisdictions
- Liaise with local in-country stakeholders for query resolution
- Support internal audits and compliance review to strengthen internal controls and mitigate global payroll tax risk
- Any additional related ad-hoc tasks
