Job Title: Group Financial Manager (CA(SA))
Location: Office Based - Lynnwood
Industry: Sustainability / Environmental Services
Overview:
A well-established company operating in the environmental and sustainability sector is seeking to appoint a Group Financial Manager to replace a departing team member. The ideal candidate is a qualified CA(SA) with at least 3 years of post-articles experience, preferably in a similar leadership role. The position reports to senior leadership and plays a key role in managing group finance functions, reporting, systems, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

Full financial management of the group, including monthly management accounts and consolidated reporting

Lead and develop a small finance team

Oversee financial systems, controls, and automation improvements

Use AI-based systems for reporting, payment approvals, and other process automation

Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies

Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting processes
Requirements:
-
CA(SA) with a minimum of 3 years’ post-articles experience

Proven experience in a financial manager or group financial manager role

Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a finance team

Technologically strong with a passion for systems and process optimisation

Proficient in Excel (advanced) and ideally familiar with Xero and Saft
-
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across various levels

Afrikaans proficiency preferred; English fluency required
Additional Preferences:

Experience implementing or working with AI-driven finance/reporting systems

Experience in an SME or high-growth environment will be an advantage
