Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial reporting function, including consolidation and presentation of cluster financial results.
- Oversee and continuously improve financial controls, systems, and processes.
- Manage complex accounting entries, journals, and reconciliations.
- Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including tax submissions (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, etc.).
- Facilitate and manage internal and external audits.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial efficiency.
- Provide strategic financial input to leadership and contribute to executive decision-making.
- Oversee payroll function across the group.
- Lead and develop finance team members, ensuring performance and succession planning.
Job Experience and Skills Required: NON NEG
- CA(SA) qualification (essential).
- Minimum 5 years’ post-articles experience in a financial management role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Solid understanding of taxation and regulatory frameworks (e.g., FSCA).
- Proven experience in financial controls, reporting, and audits.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
