Our client, a medium sized, owner run, Accounting and Auditing firm in Port Elizabeth, is looking for an Tax Compliance Consultant to join their dynamic team!

Minimum Requirements:
- BCom degree in Accounting / relevant tertiary qualification.
- 2 to 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Computer literate in Accfin / Xero / Caseware and Excel.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and time management.
Duties and responsibilities as follows:
- Preparation and submission of income tax and provisional tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts
- Liaising with SARS and clients
- Preparation and submission of objections to SARS
- Managing a portfolio of tax clients
- Preparation of tax calculations including capital gains tax
- Submission of IT 3 T returns
- Dealing with queries from SARS
- Submitting supporting documents to SARS
