Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance.
- Completed SAICA articles or equivalent audit training.
- Registered CA(SA) qualification advantageous.
- 3–5 years’ experience within an accounting, auditing, and advisory environment.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and relevant legislation.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
- Review audit files, working papers, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and support junior audit staff.
- Allocate work and monitor team performance and deadlines.
- Identify audit risks and provide practical recommendations to clients.
- Liaise directly with clients regarding audit queries and deliverables.
- Prepare and present audit findings and reports.
- Assist with budgeting, billing, and engagement administration.
- Support partners and managers with advisory and consulting projects.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide professional service.
- Ensure quality control procedures are adhered to throughout engagements.
