Job Summary
Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a junior administrative assistant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering telephone calls and dealing with clients during meetings in a polite friendly manner
- Processing all aspects of client administration accurately and timeously
- Assisting with the preparation of new business paperwork and quotations
- Submission of new business applications accurately and within stipulated time frames
- Liaising with product providers, working on their website and submitting queries online
- Preparation of annual reviews within the required month accurately and in line with compliance
- Processing of claims (risk assurance, medical aid and GAP Cover)
- Ensure all documents meet compliance standards
Requirements
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in the financial planning industry in an administrative role
- Solid understanding of the financial planning industry (life cover, investments and medical aid)
- Professional and friendly manner
- Adaptability and client service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, teamwork and time management skills
- Computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)
