Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting functions for a portfolio of clients.
- Prepare monthly accounting records and management information.
- Assist with annual financial statements and year-end processes.
- Perform reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Assist with VAT, PAYE and other statutory submissions where required.
- Prepare and review accounting information for clients.
- Communicate directly with clients and assist with their accounting-related queries.
- Identify issues and provide practical accounting support and solutions.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Requirements
- Relevant accounting qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- SAIPA registration will be advantageous.
- Comparable accounting practice experience will be considered.
- Previous experience working with multiple clients will be beneficial.
- Good working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good computer literacy and proficiency in relevant accounting software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit team.

A candidate who is SAIPA registered would be well suited to the opportunity, but strong, comparable experience within an accounting practice will be equally valued.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
