Candidate Profile
- CA(SA) qualification is essential, together with a relevant Finance, Accounting or Commerce degree.
- Minimum 3 years’ Financial Management experience, with a further 3 years’ exposure to finance transformation, business improvement, process optimisation, financial controls or project-focused finance environments.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of financial governance, controls, risk management and financial reporting.
- Commercially minded, analytical and solutions-focused, with strong project management and change leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic finance transformation and business improvement projects from planning through to implementation.
- Identify opportunities to optimise, standardise and automate finance processes, including supporting systems and technology enhancements.
- Strengthen financial controls, governance and risk management while supporting audit processes and the implementation of recommendations.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to support executive decision-making, profitability and long-term business objectives.
- Partner with finance, operational and executive stakeholders to deliver projects, manage change and foster continuous improvement.
