Job Summary
An established firm in Knysna is looking to employ a Tax Manager. They have offices in Knysna and George. The ideal candidate will be a Tax Practitioner with personal and corporate tax experience, and have at least 3 years taxation experience.
The firm is looking for ambitious candidates with the required qualification, who likes to work as part of a team, but is also willing to take initiative and capable of working independently.
This firm of Chartered Accountants (SA) and Registered Auditors offer a variety of services with the aim of continuously looking for cost-effective, value-added solutions to their clients’ business needs.
Candidate Criteria:
- Capable of working independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent command of English written and spoken.
- Deadline driven.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to take initiative.
- Strong administration skills.
- Solid knowledge of the Income Tax Act and Vat act.
- Practical experience in dealing with SARS (essential).
- Computer literate, excellent skills required on software like Microsoft office programs.
- Must be able to communicate directly with clients in a professional and confident manner.
- Strong analytical skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Tax Practitioner.
- BCom degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years Tax experience.
- Personal and Corporate tax experience essential.
Remuneration:
- R360,000 to R480,000 ctc pm.
