Job Summary
In order to be considered the following is required:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 – 5 years' experience in sales, business development, or account management
- Experience selling services or technology solutions to municipalities, government, or enterprise clients
- Experience within payment processing, collections, fintech, banking, or transaction services environments (Ideal Candidate)
- Existing municipal and public sector network
- Understanding of municipal billing, collections, and revenue management processes
- Experience responding to public sector tenders and procurement opportunities

Duties & Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within municipalities, government entities, and related sectors. (Existing customers)
- Build and maintain relationships with municipal decision-makers and stakeholders
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Conduct client presentations, demonstrations and solution workshops
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Payments and Revenue Solutions:
- Promote payment processing and transaction management solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve municipal revenue collection processes
- Assist clients in implementing digital payment channels and customer payment solutions
- Work with operational teams to ensure successful deployment of payment-related services
- Provide guidance on payment processing and customer adoption strategies to increase transaction volumes with their customers
Account Management:
- Manage and grow existing client accounts
- Conduct regular client reviews and identify upselling opportunities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Coordinate with internal teams to address client requirements and service issues
- Target Achievement
Tender and Proposal Development:
- Assist with the preparation of tenders, proposals, quotations and presentations
- Contribute to solution design and pricing strategies
- Support contract negotiations and procurement processes
Sales Administration and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records within CRM systems
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports and activity reports
- Monitor sales performance against targets
- Track market trends and competitor activity
