Job Summary
A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Platform Tech Lead to provide senior technical leadership across a complex intermediary digital platform environment supporting multiple business units and customer journeys.
This role is ideal for a senior technology leader with strong architectural credibility, enterprise-scale delivery experience, and the ability to influence across multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical strategy and roadmap for the intermediary platform.
- Lead architectural decisions across multiple systems and engineering teams.
- Partner with Product, Design and senior business stakeholders to deliver scalable digital solutions.
- Lead large-scale platform modernisation and technical transformation initiatives.
- Establish engineering standards, governance and operational best practices.
- Drive delivery alignment, risk management and engineering effectiveness across teams.
- Mentor Tech Leads and senior engineers while building a strong engineering culture.
- Ensure high standards of reliability, resilience, security and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- 12–15+ years of software engineering experience.
- Significant experience in senior technical leadership or engineering management roles.
- Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams or enterprise-scale technical domains.
- Strong architectural and systems design expertise.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience driving large-scale technical change and organisational transformation.
- Strong strategic thinking and delivery capability.
